School-led clubs

We are very fortunate, at Beedon, that our staff are willing to run clubs on a voluntary basis.  The list of clubs on offer changes regularly and has included football, kurling, ICT, homework, needlecraft, choir, construction, gardening, art and crafts, loom bands, fit kids and dance, to name but a few.

Coaching and other activities

From time to time, we are also able to offer professionally led after school clubs. Over recent years, we have held football, rugby, multi skills, basketball and gymnastics after school coaching clubs.  Children in Key Stage 2 also have the opportunity to attend Top Club canoeing and climbing at Adventure Dolphin in Newbury. There is sometimes a small charge to parents for these events.

Downland Federation Workshops and Clubs

Our pupils are also able to attend taster workshops at our federated secondary school, The Downs.  These have included ICT, Science, Hockey, Team Building and Modern Foreign Languages.

Some of our Y5/6 girls have joined the netball after school club at our federated  primary partner,  Compton CE Primary School.
