A Very Warm Welcome to Beedon Church of England Primary School
Set in a village location with stunning views over the countryside and easy access to Newbury, Didcot and beyond via the A34, we are extremely proud to be part of The Downland Federation with our partner schools Compton CE Primary and The Downs School.
We are a Values based family community and are passionate about nurturing every child’s unique skills and talents; whilst inspiring and challenging them to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
Our school motto “a love of life and learning” is key to everything we do and as a Church of England primary school we draw our inspiration from John 10.10: “I came so that they could have life—indeed, so that they could live life to the fullest”
Pupils at Beedon enjoy:
- Small class sizes and an exceptionally high staff to pupil ratio – we have ONE member of staff for every FOUR pupils (most schools can only offer 1:21)
- Close links with, and regular visits to, The Downs School, our over-subscribed, federated secondary school and priority on their admission criteria
